The Solar Plexus Chakra or Third Chakra is the seat of personal power. Located two inches below the breastbone in the center of the body where the ribs begin to spread behind the stomach, the Solar Plexus Chakra governs the areas of personal ego, personal honor, trust, responsibility, personal will power, astral travel and influences, psychic development, the courage to take on new challenges. Overall the Third Chakra determines how extroverted and optimistic you are, your receptivity to your spirit guides, and the level of your self-respect. Ruled by the Planets Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter, the Solar Plexus Chakra controls your sensitivity to criticism, your mastery of the physical realm, and the expression of your individuality. Divided by ten spokes or petals, the Solar Plexus Chakra is associated primarily with the colour yellow but also with the colours light red, and green. The Solar Plexus Chakra area includes the stomach, small intestine, gall bladder, liver and pancreas. When the energy of the Solar Plexus Chakra is blocked, you become confused, depressed, lack confidence, worry about the opinions of others, and feel controlled and manipulated. A person with an obstructed Third Chakra will suffer from indigestion, diabetes, nervous exhaustion, food allergies, gallbladder, and liver problems.

Crystal Healing of the Throat Chakra.
Overall the Fourth Chakra determines your ability to give and to receive love, to nurture others, to trust in close personal relationships, to attract abundance into your life, to forgive and to love unconditionally. When the energy of the Heart Chakra is blocked, you feel a lack of material security, keen for unrequited loves, feel unworthy of love, afraid of getting hurt, sadness, anger, loneliness, hatred, resentment, and grief. A person with an obstructed Fourth Chakra will suffer from weakened immunity, asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, difficult breathing, and heart and circulatory system problems.

Aventurine, Malachite, Rhodonite, Rhodochrosite, Lepidolite, Pink Kunzite,
Watermelon Tourmaline, and Rose Quartz can all be used for Crystal Healing of
the Heart Chakra.
